Regional Facilities Manager -to £55,000 + car + benefits

Surrey/Kent/Essex

We are looking for a Regional Maintenance Facilities Manager to support the U.K's finest family health and fitness club operator deliver an incredible customer experience to its members by ensuring the property assets are maintained to the highest standards.

Reporting into the Head of Facilities Maintenance, you will be the senior facilities manager in the region and will be responsible for managing the external contractors to meet their SLA's as well as leading, coaching and supporting a team of maintenance operatives who are based at each individual club, You will be covering 10 clubs in Essex, Kent, Surrey and Middlesex and will visit each on a regular basis. The role will predominantly be overseeing and managing reactive maintenance issues and looking at enhancing the planned maintenance programme across the region. You will be the senior facilities manager in this region will be the first line of support for 2 other facilities managers and will work very closely with the General Managers at each club, colleagues in health and safety and those in the project teams who are overseeing significant cap-ex investment into some of the clubs. You will be travelling extensively between the clubs with typically one day a week being based at home to plan and manage the work across your region.

The role is predominantly Monday to Friday with a requirement to be on the rotational weekend facilities management cover which is typically once every 10 weeks.

We are keen to hear from candidates who have:

  • Regional facilities/maintenance experience within a quality leisure, hospitality or retail environment.
  • Hold the Pool Plant Operators Qualification (STA or similar) or working knowledge of pool plant rooms.
  • Ideally are IOSH or NEBOSH qualified with a level 4 FM qualification.
  • An excellent knowledge of property maintenance services (ideally with a recognised trade trade).
  • A Full clean driving licence.

In addition to a basic salary of 50-55K, there is a 10% bonus potential based on group performance, a car allowance of £4200 per annum, benefits include 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays, free membership for you plus 1 to one of the clubs which is typically worth £3000 in this region.
