National Swim Manager

Hybrid/remote with Midlands/Southern England Travel

We are looking for a commercially astute National Swim Manager to join one of the most successful leisure operators in the U.K. who continue to grow and are renowned for being a great company to work for and advance in.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop the business strategy to maximise participation and income of the swim schools and aquatics programmes nationwide.

  • Work with key stakeholders (Operations, Marketing, Sales), suppliers and bodies to deliver a market leading swim product and fantastic customer journey to retain existing customers and attract new customers.

  • Coach, support, and drive a large team of Swim Managers with the support of Area and Regional Managers.

  • Ownership and delivery of the aquatic budget and resources for the business.

  • Support with the overall growth and expansion of the company.

Person specification:

  • Inspiring, supportive and collaborative leader.

  • Analytical, strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to delivering results.

  • Proven track record in delivering commercial improvements within a swimming lesson/aquatics environment with a working understanding of the key levers for customer and commercial success in this arena.

  • Experience in leading and impacting teams over a large geographical area possibly as a Regional Swim Manager, National Aquatics Manager, Head of Commercial, Regional Manager, Area Business Manager or Partnership/Contract Manager.

  • Full clean driving licence and prepared to initially travel up to 50% of the working week from the midlands to the south of England.

  • Ideally living in Central or Southern England for easy access to the majority of their centres.
