Group Sales Manager - Sydney Australia to $130,000 + 25% annual bonus

We are looking for a group sales manager to work for a leading health and fitness operator with clubs throughout Australia. Sponsorship is available for the successful candidate who will need to be able to demonstrate a proven track record working in a similar regional or group sales position working for a premium family focused fitness brand. The position will be based in Sydney and will require frequent travel across the country and is likely to see you being based away from Sydney for between 1 and 2 weeks each month.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the group's sales process from enquiry to sale completion and member retention activities over the membership life cycle.
  • Deliver effective training and mentoring to your team of sales managers, ideally with Challenger Sales experience.
  • Develop and implement ongoing systems to track and monitor all aspects of the sales process.
  • Work closely with the General Managers and Sales Managers to manage the performance of the sales teams.
  • Develop strategies to maximize the average rate and yield of new memberships.
  • Manage the company sales incentive scheme and career progression path for membership consultants.
  • Ongoing analysis of the sales communication processes and techniques to improve sales conversion rates.
  • Seek opportunities for high volume Corporate membership sales across the group.
  • Provide updated and timely information and reports to demonstrate each club's performance,
  • Actively participate in business strategy, marketing, and outreach campaigns.

In addition to a basic salary of up to $130,000 there is 25% annual bonus potential. Holiday entitlement is 4 weeks with 11% superannuation (pension) contribution.

Sponsorship is available for the successful candidate with my client looking for a minimum commitment of 3 years. There is the opportunity to stay significantly longer. The relocation package includes a flight to Australia with one month's rental and car hire.

The start date would need to be within 4 months of the offer date, assuming a 3 month notice period.
