General Manager Australia to $130,000 + 25% annual bonus

We are looking for a General Manager to join a leading health and fitness operator at one of their premium family focused health and fitness clubs across Australia. Sponsorship is available for the successful candidate who will need to be able to demonstrate a proven track record working as a General Manager in a premium family focused health and racquets brand.

Responsibilities include:

  • The commercial accountability for planning, organising, and directing a multi -revenue stream club operation.
  • Ensure member satisfaction and the membership through the key tasks of member engagement and member participation.
  • Develop and deliver on all localised sales, promotional and marketing strategies as directed
  • Being team and member focussed on every decision you make supported by clarity of communication and direction.
  • Passionate about coaching, supporting, training and developing your team in what is a highly competitive labour market.
  • Consistently deliver the ways of working and brand standards across every area of the club's operation.
  • Full P and L responsibility including management of significant capital expenditure projects.
  • Management of key internal and external stakeholders including the landlord and other tenants.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of the service level agreements from the suppliers, partners, and contractors.

In addition to a basic salary of up to $130,000 there is 25% annual bonus potential. Holiday entitlement is 4 weeks with 11% superannuation (pension) contribution. Sponsorship is available for the successful candidate with my client looking for a minimum commitment of 3 years. There is the opportunity to stay significantly longer. The relocation package includes a flight to Australia with one month's rental and car hire.

The start date would need to be within 4 months of the offer date, assuming a 3 month notice period.
