Duty Manager - Sports Centre Cobham

£27,560 12 months fixed term contract

I am looking for a duty manager who is lifeguard and fitness qualified to work for a prestigious school sports centre in Cobham with a well-equipped gym and 25m swimming pool. The centre is not open to the public, so this role is all about ensuring the highest levels of operational standards, health and safety and customer service.

As a duty manager will be working a combination of shifts during the week, they will be 6.15-2.15, 10.30-6pm and 2-9.45pm, you would be required to work 1 weekend out of 3 where the hours are 8-5.30pm. Given the location you will need to drive as the School is not easily accessible from public transport.

We are keen to hear from candidates who have the presence, confident and experience to run the shift whilst you are on duty, leading the front of house , fitness and lifeguards' teams and ensuring the highest levels of service and health and safety for the users of the centre. You will need to be NPLQ qualified and have a minimum of 12 months supervisory experience working within a leisure centre or health and fitness club.
