We are looking for a Deputy General Manager for a Premium Golf, Health and Fitness Members Club near Hitchin in North Hertfordshire. Supporting the General Manager, the post holder will have:

​

• Overarching responsibility for the member experience across the golf club, health & Fitness club and club house/food and beverage operation.

• Responsibility for brand standards and operational compliance, ensuring the club is clean, safe and in good working order.

• Direct leadership of the member service teams.

• Responsibility for training, coaching and supporting all the teams.

​

Person we are looking for:

​

• Ambitious, can-do attitude with a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.

• Hands-on approach to leadership, always willing to support departments and interact with members.

• Experience working in a quality customer centric health and fitness, golf or leisure operation.

• Team leadership experience, possibly as a Leisure Club Manager, Deputy Club Manager, Assistant General Manager, Operations Manager, Member Service Manager or General Manager looking to join a bigger/premium company.

• A strong eye for detail on standards, service and operational compliance.

• Have your own transport and live within commuting distance of Hitchin, North Hertfordshire.

• Flexible to work a range of shifts including some evenings and weekends.

• Ideally some knowledge of food and beverage operations.
