A unique and growing concept in central London is looking for an experienced Sous chef to join the team. They are looking for a natural leader who can work alongside the Head chef and take the menu and concept to the next Level in terms of quality and service.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of current food trends and has also worked with large number caterings making things such as canapes and small dishes from scratch.
My client wants someone with a out of the box approach who is not just going to follow recipes but come up with new recipes and suggest new ideas.
Some of the duties that will be expected:
- Run the kitchen in the absence of the head chef
- Ensure the kitchen is always operating within H&S /FS laws
- motivating the junior chefs to ensure a high quality product at all times
- develop new specials and Ideas
-Training new chefs that Join the team
-Stock orders/Stock count/Food audits
