Sales Manager - Sports & Fitness - Fleet

Circa £25,000, £36,000 OTE

We are looking for a Sales Manager in Fleet for one of the biggest sports and fitness chains in the U.K. to work at one of their newest and most impressive sites with a huge -state-of-the-art gym and the largest group exercise timetable in the area. The company is renowned at developing and progressing their top talent, and with a genuinely achievable commission structure, it is a fantastic opportunity.

The role:

  • Recruit, coach, motivate and lead a small team of sales consultants to achieve their KPI's.

  • Creating sales plans and delivering outreach activity in the local area.

  • Analysing and interpreting data from the prospect database and implementing strategy to improve the overall sales process.

  • Work with other departments to develop an in-reach strategy to increase sales and aid retention.

  • Leading by example and contributing towards the overall sales target for the club.

  • Support the club to ensure prospects and members have a fantastic customer experience.

The person.

  • An outgoing professional disposition with energy and drive in abundance.

  • A can-do attitude who will lead by example and motivated by achieving targets.

  • Evidence of high performance in previous commercial sales roles.

  • Ideally sales team leadership experience as a Sales Manager, Assistant Manager, Deputy Club Manager or even an experienced Senior Sales/Membership Sales Consultant looking for the next step.

  • Ideally experience within the sports/fitness/leisure industry and if coming from another industry can demonstrate their passion for health and fitness.

  • Ideally experience in proactively generating leads with outreach, sales planning and local marketing activities with local businesses/in the community.
