Sales Manager - Health and Fitness Industry25K basic 28K OTE

I am looking for a manager to join a leading health and fitness operator and take on the role of sales and fitness manager for one of their large multipurpose sports and leisure centres near Dartford in Kent., Kent. You will be working as a senior manager within the centre and be directly responsible for a team of 3 sales advisors as well as the fitness team of 5 instructors and personal trainers and working very closely with the front of house team. Responsibilities include:

• Hands on in ensuring the centre meets its monthly new joiners target
• Responsible for managing the key local partnerships and corporate clinets
• The recruitment, coaching and training of your sales team
• The programming and performance of your fitness team
• Ensuring operational and brands standards are upheld at all times
• Ensuring clear communications between sales, front of house and the gym team
• Carrying out duty management shifts with key- holding responsibility

Ina addition to a competitive basic salary of up to 25K you will receive a monthly bonus for hitting the new member target as well as commission on each sale you make, 28K is a very realistic and achievable OTE. If you are a personal trainer you can PT off shift and earn additional monies over and above the advertised salary. We are also keen to talk to candidates who have a proven track record in a leadership position where they have managed a proactive sales team to meet and exceed daily KPis in terms of activity and new sales targets. Previous membership sales experience and a fitness qualification is desirable but is not essential. What is essential is the passion, drive and motivation to exceed commercial targets and deliver an exceptional service to members.

The position will require you to work a combination n of shifts with earlies and lates and typically one full weekend in three. Benefits include free family membership , free parking on site, 28 days holiday rising to 33 with service.
