My client is a successful leisure operator in the Scarborough area and they now have an opening immediately for a Sales Consultant to join their membership sales team. This is an exciting time as the centre is a recent opening making it a joy to sell!
Boosting a high tech gym and pool facility this club has plenty of features to sell and you will also have the benefit of having a free gym membership for yourself and a loved one.

To get offered the job you'll have to be passionate about health and fitness and sport in general, and someone who'll thrive working in a dynamic and fast paced environment. We need someone that is pro-active and does not need to be micro-managed. We want ambitious candidates who will put in the hours and the work needed to hit target. You will need to be great on the phone and have a natural ability to build rapport and personalise the benefits of joining for each and every member focusing on their individual needs and goals. You'll be explaining all about the different fitness equipment and innovations, the huge range of fitness classes and all other facilities that can help them achieve their goals.
You will not have to necessarily have experience within health and fitness however this would be preferable. If you have had direct face to face sales or call centre experience please do indicate this in your application

You will benefit from plenty of people who will walk in and enquire and there are always high levels of referrals from existing members so this is not a cold calling sales job. However, make no mistake, we're looking for proactive and positive individuals who will go out into the local area and win new business and generate plenty of new leads and sales. This will involve organising and promotional events in and around the local area targeting the big corporate offices as well as local businesses, residents and commuters.
