Installation Technician - Fitness up to 32K + overtime + van

We are currently recruiting for a gym installation technician to work for a well-established fitness business that specialises in corporate and residential fitness installations and the management of residential gym and spa facilities. You will be working closely for the head of installations and will be working nationwide although the majority of your time will be spent within London and the Southeast. You will typically be collecting fitness equipment from the company warehouse and driving to the client premises where you will be building an installing a range of fitness rigs, rack and equipment. In addition to the gym installations, you will also be involved with day-to-day repairs and maintenance to the fitness facilities, this could involve painting, basic repairs and fixes requiring a handman level competence in plumbing and electrics.

A background installing products such as white goods or kitchens or a background working as a field services/ maintenance technician would be equally relevant. An interest in the fitness industry would be advantageous but not essential.

In addition to basic salary of 30-32K dependent on experience the position offers paid overtime above the contracted 42.5 hrs per week (base location is home) and a company van that can be used privately for a minimal contribution. The position will predominantly be working Monday to Friday, benefits include discounted fitness membership and discounts off fitness products and equipment, holidays are 28 days per annum including bank holidays along with a stakeholder pension. The ideal base location will be in or around London with the comapny warehouse based in Shepperton.
