General Manager - Golf Fitness Spa Kids Events F&B- Oxfordshire

Circa £60,000, £85000-£90,000 OTE/overall package

We are looking for a General Manager to take a Premium Lifestyle club in Oxfordshire to new heights following an extensive transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spend time with your guests/members to ensure they are at the heart of everything you do.

  • Lead, coach, develop and inspire your 100+ team members to deliver an incredible customer experience.

  • Support your leadership team to enhance the kids, golf, fitness, spa, swimming, conference and banqueting, food and beverage and event offering to ensure the right products are delivered at the right time to maximise participation, aid retention and improve the bottom line.

  • Work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop and deliver their strategy to drive new member sales and events.

  • Full financial accountability; profit and loss, income, expenditure, debtors; helping set the budgets and business plan.

  • Ensure the property and grounds are well maintained, clean and safe at all times.

  • Support with managing new CAPX projects in 2023

Person Specification:

  • Highly engaging, professional, ambitious and obsessed with service and operational standards.

  • Front of house approach to leadership with the ability to step up to provide strategic direction.

  • Experience in building and developing high performing teams fostering a culture of excellence.

  • At least 3-years experience as a Club Manager, Club Director, General Manager or Resort General Manager within a premium leisure business.

  • Experience and track record in growing club membership and growing the bottom line.

  • A passion for golf, health and fitness or an active lifestyle.

  • The ability to commute daily to the Oxford area.
