General Manager - New Active Entertainment Leisure Venue - Tunbridge wells

Up to £30,000+ bonus +benefits

​We are looking for a General Manager to help open and manage a brand-new active entertainment leisure venue in Tunbridge Wells.

​The brand has venues all over the U.K. and has been delivering incredibly fun and varied gaming experiences to children and adults for more than 30-years. They continue to invest in new technology and product development to ensure they remain market leaders for years to come.

The role:

  • Inspire, coach and develop your team of Assistant Manager, Duty Managers, Party Hosts and crew members to always deliver an incredible customer experience.

  • Take the lead on new enquiries for birthday party bookings, adult/group bookings, corporate and team building events.

  • Oversee all venue operations including staff scheduling, equipment/facility maintenance, health and safety and cleanliness.

  • Always available and visible to your customers and team during peak times, competently resolving issues if they arise.

  • Manage stock control and supplier relationships.

  • Working predominantly afternoons, evenings and weekends with shifts up to 9pm.

  • Always striving to achieve 5-star reviews.

The Person:

  • An abundance of energy, ambition and drive.

  • Team leadership and shift operational management experience within a similar leisure/recreation/hospitality/entertainment venue, possibly as a Centre Manager, Assistant Manager, Deputy General Manager, Operations Manager or experienced Duty Manager.

  • Experienced in dealing with children's parties and group bookings either directly or indirectly.

  • Living within an easy commute of Tunbridge Wells TN2

  • Flexible to work predominantly afternoons, evenings and some weekends with shifts up to 9pm
