An exciting opportunity for a fitness manager to be responsible for relaunching a full-service premium private members fitness club in Guildford after a substantial investment in upgrading the club and al the facilities. The club offers a well-equipped gym, 100 class studio timetable and swimming pool and is expected to build towards a membership base of 2000. As fitness manager you will be hands on within the gym, you will have a team of two full time fitness instructors and you will be responsible for managing the GX timetable, a large team of freelance instructors as well as the outsourced team of personal trainers. Ax one of the senior managers in the club you will also be required to carry out a minimum of two duty management shifts per week and typically be expected to work a minimum of 1 weekend in 3.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a career focused senior fitness instructor who is looking to step up into their first fitness management position or alternatively an existing fitness manager or group X manager who is looking for a fresh challenge in a club that is totally committed to being an integral part of the local community and delivering an outstanding level of service to all members.

We are ideally looking for a level 3 fitness qualified candidate, an ability to take gym floor classes would be beneficial but is not essential. There will be the opportunity to do personal training outside your core hours and you would be offered preferential terms to do so.
