Fitness & Personal Training Manager - Luxury Fitness - Near Ashford, Kent

£32,000 + circa £6000 + in Personal training +outstanding benefits

We are looking for a hands-on Fitness and Personal Training Manager to take ownership for the gym, studios and pool area for this stunning luxury hotel and health club resort in Kent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, Coach, support and inspire a team of supervisors, personal trainers, instructors, receptionists and cleaners to deliver a 5-sar experience to guests and members.

  • Ensure the gym, studio and pool areas are clean, safe and operational at all times.

  • Look at ways to improve retention and grow membership from new classes to events and challenges.

  • Own the gym floor and always be available to members and guests.

  • Promote and deliver personal training sessions and group exercise classes.

Person Specification:

  • Full of energy and passionate about delivering a fantastic customer experience.

  • Team leadership experience within a fitness environment possibly as a Fitness Manager, Assistant Gym Manager, Senior Personal Trainer, Gym Manager or Leisure Club Manager.

  • REPS 3 qualified and experienced in personal training.

  • Able to teach a few group exercise classes like spin, HIT or strength and Conditioning.

  • Fitness/health club operations experience.

  • Ideally swimming pool experience (although training can be provided)

  • Have your own transport and flexible to work a range of shifts including early morning (5.45am start), late (10pm finish), middle shifts and every other weekend.
