Finance Director - Leisure Sector 115K

I am looking for a finance director to join a privet equity backed multi -site leisure operation with centres in the UK and Spain that generate a turnover in excess of £10m. We are keen to talk to candidates who are ACCA qualified and who have a proven track record as a Finance Director ideally working within the broad leisure, hospitality or FMCG sectors. Interested candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to quickly build rapport with multiple internal and external stakeholders. A logical thinker who can quickly get up to speed with the intricacies of the operation and who can produce detailed analysis and logical assessments in a timely manner. As such first class interpersonal and communication skills are hugely important in this key position within the business.

• Leading the accounts team of 5 including management accountants and accounts payable.
• Support the Operations Teams to fully understand and act on their P and L's.
• Financial Accounting, Financial Management, Reporting and Payroll
• Financial Auditing and compliance in high daily transaction business
• Manage third party relationships including outsourced IT and Booking systems.
• Cash flow management and forecasting
• Preparing quarterly VAT returns and other statutory returns
• Business Planning and Budgeting to ensure the product offer and guest experience is attractive.
• Responsible for financial systems and processes.

The role will be based from corporate offices in The Strand with the potential to be based at home for 1 day per week. You will attend quarterly board meetings in Spain.
