Community Sports & Activity Development Manager - £35,000+car+excellent benefits - Telford, Shropshire + some travel to Marlow, Buckinghamshire

We are looking for a Community Sports and Activity Development Manager to develop and deliver a diverse and innovative range of inclusive sports and physical activity programmes using a range of the sports, leisure and community facilities in and around two multi-faceted centres in Shropshire and Buckinghamshire respectively. The objective is to give all the residents regardless of their background, the opportunity to improve their health and wellbeing by taking part in inclusive sports and physical activities.

This hugely rewarding role comes with a competitive salary of up to £35,000, company car and all travel expenses away from your home centre. We would love you to apply if you have:

• Experience in developing and delivering sports and physical activity programmes within a community setting possibly as a Sports Development Manager or Active Communities Manager.

• Developed strategic business plans with KPI measures of success.

• Built strategic partnerships with public health, governing bodies and community groups.

• Some knowledge of external funding opportunities.

• A Full clean driving licence and the flexibility to travel for meetings, conferences and to other venues
