Commercial Manager- Sports Club - Worthing

£30,000+ circa £10,000 commission/bonus

The Commercial Manager is a fantastic, newly created post to support an ambitious sports club drive additional income into their already growing business.

This is a really diverse role and will incorporate function and events sales, sponsorship/advertising, membership, matchday sales, sports pitch bookings, on-line sales as well as supporting with getting new commercial projects off the ground.

The Commercial Manager will be specifically responsible for generating new leads into the business, following up all incoming enquiries, managing the full sales process/customer journey and will manage the budgets for these income lines. The income generated will be re-invested back into the club to develop and grow the club both on and off the field, so it is a hugely rewarding opportunity.

Person we are looking for:

• Highly professional, personable and customer orientated.

• Self-starter, entrepreneurial thinker who thrives on working to targets.

• Direct sales experience within a similar customer centric venue such as sports, leisure, fitness, entertainment, hospitality, events or holiday parks.

• Experienced in sales planning, lead generation and community outreach activity possibly as a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Commercial Manager, Events Sales Manager or even an experienced Corporate Sales, Senior Sales or Membership Sales Consultant.

• A passion for sports, hospitality and people.

• Living within easy commuting distance of Worthing.
