Job Description

My client is currently looking for an experienced or up and coming Resort Manager to lead a great team at their stunning 90 acre resort in South Cornwall.

The resort currently has 110 self-catering units, this year they have already embarked on a £3million refurbishment and enhancement plan of the estate. As well as this they will be undergoing a complete makeover to the bar and restaurant in the latter part of 2018, therefore the individual will need to be dynamic and determined to help oversee these fantastic projects as well continuing to drive the overall business at the resort.

The successful candidate will lead all team on resort including a 6 strong team of HOD's and will have 3 clear areas of focus

1. Customer Experience

Delivering amazing experiences for guests and owners by leading the team in line with the company culture and values.

2. Team Engagement

They strive for highly engaged teams at all of the properties, it is the resort manager in conjunction with their HOD's that lead this crucial element to our success

3. Revenue & Return

Through a dynamic and strong approach to the first 2 points, the Resort Managers are required to deliver strong revenue, effectively manage resources and create a healthy return for the shareholders.

Areas of responsibility and key attributes include

· Driving and enhancing the defined culture

· Overseeing the health and safety of the team and guests

· Rental revenue through direct and agency sales

· Supporting the property sales team

· Site Maintenance and Grounds

· Delivery of exceptional accommodation standards across the 110 units on site

· F&B revenue, GP and quality

· Continued improvement of the guest experience

· Innovative approach and willingness to embrace change across all business areas

· Versatile communication skills required to engage all levels of employees and different customer types
