Food and Beverage Manager up to 40K basic OTE 55K Nationwide
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Complex Food and Beverage Manager to join the largest and most successful holiday park business in the UK. Interested candidates must be available to relocate to any of their coastal parks around the country, geographical flexibility is essential.
My client is widely recognised as being one of the very best employers to work for in the UK. Their hospitality operation is high volume with an average turnover of up to £2m but rising to £4m at their biggest sites across a 38-week trading period, your responsibility will be to manage numerous bar and catering outlets throughout the operation. Depending on the specific site you could have overall responsibility for managing two show bars with capacities for up to 1000 people, branded restaurants, pub diners and franchised outlets in addition to an on shop and several retail concessions and numerous vending outlets.
The ideal candidate must have a proven track record running multiple high volume entertainment, retail or leisure operations as well as being a huge personality with outstanding leadership qualities and communication skills. The right candidate must also have a strong sales background with an ability to drive sales through pro-active marketing. You have overall responsibility for budgeting and the key to success will be the ability to deliver and manage both GPs and bottom line profit across the park so strong Profit & Loss experience is essential. You will also need to demonstrate excellent people management and administrative skills, and be able to work under considerable pressure during the peak season. You will be given a huge amount of autonomy to meet and exceed your budget and we are looking for individuals who will relish this freedom and who can and will go the extra mile to ensure that your team of up to 8 managers and deputies and full and part time complement of up to 100 staff work to achieve the complex targets. With up to 5000 holidaymakers coming onto the park each and every week in peak season their overall experience is of paramount importance to my client and the most important criteria for you as complex manager is to ensure that the holidaymaker feedback surveys show excellent results across your departments.
The rewards for outperforming are second to none and it would be realistic to expect a bonus of 10- 15K for beating your bottom line targets whilst there are excellent opportunities for further career development
Accommodation on site is often available in the short term making this one of the most challenging and exciting opportunities in the hospitality industry today.
Due to the high volume of applications and huge interest in these roles we regret that only those candidates meeting the above criteria will be contacted.
