Sports & Activity Manager To £33,000 + excellent benefits Woodbridge Suffolk IP12

We are looking for a Sports & Activity for a fantastic Residential Sports & Activity Centre set in a stunning beach and riverside location, offering a host of indoor, outdoor, dry sports, water sports and physical activities from climbing to canoeing to children of all ages.

Our client is the U.K.'s Premier Residential Adventure Centre and Activity Holiday operator and offers a clear development path for you to move into senior management. Role Overview:

  • Inspire, coach and support a large and diverse team of activity instructors and team leaders to be the best version of themselves every day and help them develop and grow.

  • Play host to your guests, always being available and interacting at key moments to ensure a memorable customer experience.

  • Lead and coordinate the activity programme from workforce scheduling to compliance of health and safety standards and safeguarding of children.

  • Take ownership for guest services and customer feedback; analysing and interpreting feedback and creating new ways of working to improve the customer experience.

  • Create a positive, fun, nurturing environment for your team and guests to thrive in.

Person Profile:

  • Outgoing, hands-on approach to leadership with a passion for customer service and the outdoors.

  • Experience in coaching, developing and inspiring large youthful teams within a leisure, educational, sports, travel or hospitality environment, possibly as a Sports Manager, Activity Manager, Leisure Club Manager, Centre Manager, Member Experience Manager or Guest Service's Manager.

  • Experience managing within a similar high volume, multifaceted child centric operation such as Health and fitness Clubs, Sports and Leisure Centres, Visitor Attractions, Hotels and Holiday Parks, Activity and Entertainment centres, children's Sports, Activity and holiday Camps, or Residential Educational and Outward Bounds Centres.

  • Full clean driving license and the flexibility to work shifts including some weekends.
