Project Managers - Sales Strategy and Customer Acquisition

Based: London

My client, market leader in the leisure industry with facilities the length and breadth of the country are looking for 2 project managers to join a key head office project team. The project team has been set up to look at how the business should evolve to deliver the optimum commercial strategy for both customer acquisition and ultimately sales using face to face customer interactions and automated processes. It will look across the full sales cycle, from the infrastructure , systems, reporting process and staffing structure and will need to take in account significant regional factors including size and scope of the facilities, the competition and the local demographics, This presents a very exciting challenge and teh opportunity to paly a key role in defining a business critical strategy which will play a huge role in shaping the sales strategy for the next 5 years.

We are looking to meet strategic thinkers who have ideally worked in similar project teams analysing the optimum route to market in a transitioning bricks and clicks market within the broad leisure and hospitality sectors including fitness and hotels or potentially within retail banking, major retailers or travel. The project will require detailed analysis and research and will involve liaising with and working with multiple operational stakeholders and the head office teams especially digital, technology and marketing.

We are keen to meet creative thinkers who can find new ways to tackle existing problems through diligent and comprehensive research both externally and in house, looking at best practice and how to achieve the optimum results You'll need to have a well-developed understanding of technology and someone who genuinely understands the customer journey across a wide customer profile covering the whole age range from youngsters learning to swim and attending soft play right through to senior citizens who have been loyal customers for many years and who firmly believe in the value of real human interaction. Interested candidates must be unfazed by deadlines, thrive under pressure and be totally focussed on delivery.

Successful candidates can be based anywhere in the country between London and Manchester. There will be a requirement to be in London for on average of 2 days a week and travel and accommodation will be provided. There will be a requirement to travel throughout the country in carrying out research both internally and externally. Tne position will initially be available on a fixed term contract of 6 months. A competitive remuneration package will be on offer reflecting the skills and experience of the candidates.
