Head of Finance 50-60K + bonus Holmes Chapel
I am looking for a head of leisure to work for a leading leisure charity based in Holmes Chapel, The charity operates a large number of sports and leisure facilities in Cheshire East and generates an annual turnover in excess of £17m, with a clear focus of working towards improving people's lives through physical activity and healthy recreation. As Head of Finance you will lead a team of 6 colleagues and be responsible for:
- Collaboration with the Board, CEO, and all management team colleagues in delivering Trust's financial plans and all key targets
- Contribution to various strategic, governance, and operational documents, e.g. the Strategic Risk Register, the Policy Framework
- Provide Input to and delivery of Business Planning and Strategy , short ,medium and long term planning.
- Lead on the management of accounts, cashflow forecasts and provision of accurate account/finance information.
- Responsible for statutory accounts, VAT returns, reports and disclosures, overseeing group procurement and key contracts.,
- Work closely with the SMT and senior managers , setting budgets for short, medium and long term plans.
- Responsible for managing and allocating significant capital investment into the facilities.
- The ongoing review of pricing and modelling across all the key income lines within the business.
- Upskilling and coaching senior managers in relation to their financial & budget management capabilities
We are keen to hear from suitably qualified candidates (CIMA/ACCA/ACA etc) who have experience in a similar capacity ideally with experience working within either the leisure or third sector managing a business with a multi-million pound turnover.
