General Manager Manchester up to 35K basic OTE 42K

This is one of the most exciting challenges in the North West at the moment in the health and fitness industry. We are looking for a General Manager to work for one of the largest clubs in Manchester. We are looking for candidates who have a proven track record of leading and managing teams to deliver exceptional customer service and engagement and who have the commercial acumen and operational skills to ensure the business outperforms. A background in health and fitness is desirable but is not essential and we would welcome applications from candidates working in retail or hospitality who can demonstrate these attributes in full. You will be looking after a membership base of several thousand members and will the type of leader who thrives in a fast paced environment and who will be given the autonomy to drive the business forward through a proactive localised marketing strategy backed up by a huge online presence.

My client offers a highly competitive basic salary of up to 35K with the genuine opportunity to achieve up to 7k in bonuses that are paid out on a quarterly basis along with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. There are excellent opportunities for both on the job training and further career progression.
