General manager- up to 30K OTE 10K

My client is looking for an experienced GM to work at their new fitness concept gym based in Cardiff. This role is suited for GM who really craves autonomy in their role, and who has already had success in process driven roles. The role will pay up to 30K basic with a generous 10K OTE and you will be able to benefit from taking part in workshops delivering by leading coaches in their field.

The General Manager will coach, lead and inspire a team of coaches to deliver a great programme of activities and courses. You will aim to deliver a fun and friendly customer experience where members feel supported in their fitness journey and ensure the safe operation of the club at all times. Being a new site and concept there will also be a focus on sales planning and outreach in the local area, with an aim to take on corporate accounts.

Ideally candidates will be:

* A real go getter with a can-do attitude and hands-on approach to leadership.
* Be commercially minded with experience in delivering sales, marketing and outreach activity.
* Have operational experience including putting together risk assessments, NOP and EAP process

*Experience within a health and fitness facility

* Have proven sales success in driving KPI's to achieve business plans

* Be able to think on their feet and make decisions based on experience and reporting processes

It would be desirable if you held a First aid certificate and a ISOSH certificate but not essential
