Estates and Services Manager £57,000

Chiswick

I am looking for an estates and services manager to work for an award winning business park campus with extensive grounds in Chiswick, West London. The estates and service manager is a pivotal position in ensuring the park operates efficiently, effectively and safely for all tenants and their employees. You will be working collaboratively with multiple internal departments and external service partners. Duties include:

  • Estate Management by facilitating the planning, developing and implementation of the Estate strategy and planner.
  • Contract Management by taking an active lead in managing Service Partner contracts including cleaning, security and landscaping.
  • Setting and continual review of the strategic plans, manging KPIS and SLA's.
  • Full financial accountability for the Estate and Services budgets ensuring accurate tracking, and involvement in forecast planning
  • Business continuity by supporting Project, Lifecycle Replacement and Fabric work on the Estate
  • Working with the Sustainability Manager on key areas of influence and impact including energy, waste & recycling, biodiversity management
  • Preparation of presentations for webinars, meetings and reports and assist in writing submission documents for external stakeholders.
  • Lead in the Health & Safety Management on the Estate, utilising the guidance and support from the H&S Coordinator
  • On-call support for the Business in relation to Emergency Procedures and Disaster Recovery
  • Supporting the planning, developing, implementation and delivery of a wide range of events and sports taking place.

We are keen to hear from candidates who have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role managing a large estate.
  • Have a detailed Knowledge and understanding of soft services.
  • IOSH Managing Safely as a minimum, but NEBOSH General Certificate is desirable
  • Project management experience and Project Management Qualification required
  • Unquestionable integrity, discretion, ethical and professional approach to business, commitment and personal credibility
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal)
  • Creativity and resourcefulness: Ability to develop and execute project plans and engagement campaigns in innovative ways.
