Customer Service Manager up to 28K

I am looking for a customer service manager to lead the customer service team for a well-established and successful business based in Peterborough. You will ensure that your team delivers the highest standards of sales processing, account management, sales administration and delivery efficiency to their extensive network of clients throughout the UK and Europe. You will be tasked with:

  • Responsibility and accountability for effectively managing and processing of all customer quotations, orders and enquiries.
  • Increasing the turnover and profit by growing average order value and order frequency by delivering superior customer service levels
  • Recruiting, coaching and supporting your team to deliver a great customer experience.
  • Ensuring that the agreed KPIs and objectives are consistently met, whilst adhering to the Company sales process.
  • Processing and planning customer orders for delivery and installation are completed in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Develop and maintain key contacts in designated accounts to establish and develop long-term relationships and increase sales opportunities
  • Support the Import Export Manager with the movement of Company product in and/or out of the country.
  • Working closely with the warehouse, accounts and both the direct sales and distributor teams throughout the UK and Europe
  • To own and resolve customer complaints including order discrepancies, warranties and invoice queries.
  • To work closely with the field sales team and coordinate appointments for high volume and high transaction value business.
  • Ensuring the data management and order processing systems are maintained and updated in line with policy.

I am keen to receive applications from candidates who have a minimum of 2 years experience working within a senior customer service position and who have well developed leadership, IT and communication skills. Having a knowledge of freight forwarding and import/export would be advantageous.
