Assistant General Manager - New Gym Opening - East Grinstead.
£22,000 O.T.E. + personal training +career development
Working for arguably the best operator in the U.K. for career development with the best value and most innovative gym product, we are looking for an Assistant General Manager to help manage their New gym Opening in East Grinstead.
The role of the Assistant General Manager is a completely multi-functional, fast paced and hands-on role with plenty of responsibility. Particular focus will be on driving brand standards, customer service levels and making the fitness product the best it can be. You will help recruit, coach, develop and motivate a team of personal trainers and instil a positive and fun working environment. You will also lead on outreach activity in the local area, particularly during pre-sales to spread the word that your gym is the best in town! The post holder will also act as General Manager in the General Managers absence.
To be considered for the Assistant General Manager post you will have at least 2-years leadership experience within the health and fitness industry and be minimum REPS level 2 qualified. Ideally you will have managed a team of personal trainers before and have been involved with driving membership sales through outreach activity. Knowledge of the local would be hugely beneficial. You will be the type of manager who enjoys leading from the front and engaging with members, not a back office manager so an outgoing disposition and a passion for health and fitness and customer service is essential
