Assistant General Manager to 28K basic OTE 32K

I am looking for an assistant general manager to join a market leading brand operating indoor go karting venue in Acton, West London. With the business booming post lockdown and with several new openings in the pipeline this is an exciting time to join the business. The assistant general manager role is very much focused on supporting the Centre Manager to deliver a consistently high level of operational performance in terms of health and safety and facility management through a large team of full an part time staff across the Centre which includes a significant hospitality operation.

We are keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate a proven track record working in a managerial capacity in a high footfall leisure or hospitality operation and who will relish the operational and leadership challenges that this position offers. You will be highly organised and detailed in your approach and who will thrive in delivering the ways of working that are embedded in the business across their centres nationwide, Experience in scheduling and programming ongoing events, tours, rides or attractions will be advantageous in this position.

As assistant general manager you will typically work alternative shifts to the Centre Manager. You will be working 40 hours over a 5-day week, typically working afternoon and evening shifts where you will typically finish around 11.20pm/midnight. You will be required to work a minimum of 3 weekends out of 4 as these are the peak trading days for your business.
