I am looking for an assistant food and beverage manager for a leading holiday park based near Newton Abbott and within easy travelling distance of both Exeter and Torquay. Working within a large team of around 40 full and part time staff this is a hands on role as assistant food and beverage manager you will be directly responsible for leading a team of three supervisors whilst on duty along with a large team of relatively young from line staff looking after multiple outlets that generate an average weekly turnover in excess of 20K. We are keen to talk to candidates who have previous supervisory experience working front of house in a large holiday park, branded restaurant, hotel or commercial leisure business where customer service, operational standards and the highest levels health and safety are of paramount importance. It's a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with genuine presence, personality and who is looking to further develop their managerial career in a business that invests heavily in staff training and development.

You will thrive in a fast paced, high volume hospitality environment where you will be hands on in the restaurants, you will invest significant time in the ongoing recruitment, training and development of the team whilst ensuring that the outlets including retail shops continue to meet and exceed GP's. in a typical week you would be spending around 40 hrs front of house and 5 hrs looking after administration, orders and menus/GP's. There are outstanding opportunities for the successful candidate to develop further within the holiday park as there will be additional hospitality outlets opening in 2019 as well as within the overall company.

In terms of shifts you would work 5 shifts a week, these would predominantly be 12-9.30pm and 2-11.30pm with three weekends out of 4. The early shift if worked would be 8-5.30pm.

In addition to a competitive basic salary of up to 25K, there is a performance related bonus of up to 10% of the basic salary, 30 days annual holiday including bank holidays, free gym membership, and the opportunity to benefit from deeply discounted holidays for you as well as friends and family.
